Our Program
"USFS provides expert speakers, work-shops, training courses and hands-on activities in the certification of installers in compliance with city codes and certification in an effort to supplement the existing preventative measures currently offered by public entities.
Our installers will complete yearly visits to homes where they will verify that each dwelling has multiple smoke and carbon monoxide detectors that are up to date and functional, while replacing non-functional detectors and batteries.
USFS will help families and individuals devise a quick and efficient escape plan in the event of a house fire. They will also advise in the repair or creation of appropriate fire exits and ensure that each exit has no obstructions. In addition, USFS will provide families and individuals with fire extinguishers at lower rates for those in need.
By regularly implementing all of these practices of our Certified Home Fire Prevention Program in every residence, USFS feels that we can meet our goal of preventing further injuries or fatalities caused by house fires.
